Lafourche Parish Public Library meets the needs of its community through a system of nine branches, library headquarters, and a bookmobile. Branches are categorized as being either a main branch or satellite branch, and each branch is assigned to a particular region of the parish - north, central, or south.

Hours of Operation:
The Golden Meadow Branch suffered significant damage during Hurricane Ida. Library Administration and the Library Board are working alongside Parish Government to rebuild the Golden Meadow Branch & bring full library services back to the Golden Meadow community. Golden Meadow patrons are encouraged to visit our South Lafourche Branch, located in the Tarpon Heights Shopping Center, for library services.
Community Wi-Fi Hub is located at Golden Meadow Town Hall for public use.
