The Makerbot Replicator 2 3D printer is accessible to the public.
A supply cost of .10 cents per gram of plastic used will be charged for printed objects (by weight).
3D printing gives you the opportunity to make small scale models, make prototypes of designs, create utensils or tools, or create anything you can design or find already designed on sites like Thingiverse.
A Makerbot Digitizer Scanner will also be avilable at specified times for scanning objects.
Please note that objects that are shiny, translucent, fuzzy, very dark, or very small are not able to be scanned by this device.
